Hi friends, I wanted to share Alissa’s update from Facebook that she made this morning.

“Round 1 of chemo is done, and it was horrible for Alex. He has had such horrible nausea that he hasn’t been able to eat for 3 days. His pain is still not controlled so he’s struggling. He said he feels like he’s just getting worse.

Yesterday, they drained another 2L of the cancerous fluid out of his abdomen to relieve pressure off the tumors and hopefully give him some relief.

Immediate prayer requests:
-Nausea to go away so he can eat
-Strength to return
-Hydration
-Pain to be controlled
-That we can leave the hospital so we can get an appt at MD Anderson in Houston.

We are still so full of hope that Alex will be healed, so keep crying to Jehovah Rapha with us.
